Established in 2004, we specialize in communication development, issues management and project managing, We offer our clients a wide range of short and long term services.

 

Leslie Ballentine has more than 30 years experience in communication and policy development, issues analysis and management, and media and government relations.

 

Ballentine Communication Group was established in 2004 to provide strategic communications and information services for animal-based sectors. Her company draws on a network of experts from across North America to monitor, analyze and address animal related issues.

 

Leslie also provides corporate communications and project management services to a range of clients.

 

Her clients include non-profit and multi-national companies in the agriculture and food, pet, entertainment, research and wildlife communities.

 

Prior to starting her own company, Leslie was the executive director for the Ontario Farm Animal Council, an organization she helped form in 1988. The Council was established as a coordinated effort by all of animal agriculture and food producers to communicate about modern farm animal and food production practices.

 

Leslie is a graduate of the Ontario Agriculture College and has served in various roles for provincial and national non-profit organizations and businesses in the course of her career. A recipient of numerous awards and certifications, she now provides services for a wide range of industry programs and projects.

 

She works collaboratively with both in-house staff and consultancy agencies in meeting client needs.
